My choice project: For my last and final project in class i have learn a lot on how to do things on my own and explore out of my comfort zone. For this project it was great doing whatever i wanted to shoot,I felt more "free" as in to take whatever i wanted to and not have to make it fit a a certain project. It was fun creating something that I had a choice in doing. For this project I wanted to create a image of having colors in them and experimenting with my limited props i had and try to make the photo look good with as many less props as i can.
Arts walk:
Studio Portraits: While I was shooting this project, it really helped me on directing on how I wanted the photo to turn out the way I wanted it. As you can see the meaning behind these photos are "Pure Beauty". I wanted this project to be nice and simple. I used rule of thirds and fill the frame to draw all of the focus on the model. I used auto mode and portrait close up.
Outside Portraits: The outside portraits really helped me consider where i stand and how it matters a lot on how the photos turn out . Especially how the sun can mess up a photo and how the sun can really make an amazing photos. The same goes for shade. I used auto mode while i was taking picture outside.
White Balance CS: In this activity we were asked to set up our cameras on auto white balance and photograph a blank white piece if paper. The purpose of this activity was to see and see how to take a good portrait and to see how photos turn when we set it on auto. As you can see from the photos they all look different in all types of lighting. When i photograph my portraits i need to change on where i stand to get the right lighting, so make sure that my white balance is correct for my subject.
David Hockney Project:Now for this project i found it more difficult, The reason I say that isconsidering that i had to shoot multiple to get the right image for my liking. I had to learn from where to stand from and where to put the camera so that in photo shop it will overlay how i would like it.
Print Motion : This project meaning is that its capturing people in their everyday life so people could relate to maybe 2/3 of these photos. For this project I wanted to use and play around with colors that I don't normally do. I had a lot of fun capturing these moments with motion.
Blurred Action : For this project I really had to think about the motion I wanted the model to be doing in order to get the right subject. I also had to work with the shutter speed which I learned a lot from.
Sharp Action Photography : For this project what i really had to remind myself is the lighting good? What pose are they gonna do and how it will work and show up on the camera.
Narrative Project : Forthese photos i wanted to have colors that stood out in each photos to get the mood of each photos. I mostly used auto mode on the camera to capture these moments.
